Suzanne Carter is an award-winning contemporary Australian mixed media artist based in Tomakin on the NSW South Coast. Her work blends bold botanicals, layered fabric and paint combinations, and large-scale abstract canvases exploring connection, nature and lived experience.

Creating statement pieces for modern homes, coastal spaces and collectors, Suzanne’s practice is grounded in texture, depth and emotional resonance. Her work has received significant recognition, including Champion and First Prize at the 2025 Moruya Agricultural Show, First and Second Prize at the 2026 Moruya Agricultural Show (across different categories), and Second Prize plus an Encouragement Award at the 2026 Royal Canberra Show.

Alongside original artworks and gallery-quality prints, Suzanne develops art-inspired clothing and collectible works. She is also the author and illustrator of an upcoming middle-grade fiction series, and releases emotionally charged, thought-provoking music under the name Luna Elivands — bringing together visual art, storytelling and sound in one evolving creative practice.
